Windows Vista, 7, 8 & 10 | Lingua Latina

Windows Vista, 7, 8 & 10

End of Life

The last version of Windows to support the Lingua Latina software was Windows 7. Our software will not be patched to support Windows 8 or newer.

Windows 8 and 10

The Lingua Latina software has been tested in various compatibility modes and does not support Windows 8 or 10.

Windows Vista and 7

We reccomend downloading our latest patches, these have built in Vista and 7-support. Our software can in most cases run under Vista and 7. Either by running it in Compatibility Mode or changing the permissions for the folder the software has been installed in. Each method has its own advantages  and disadvantages. The “Compatibility Mode”-method is easier, but Changing the permissions, although harder for the typical user, provides a better overall experience and is better suited for educational institutions.
